Creative Energy Therapy
The Lightworker’s Guide to Healing
Introduction
In Creative Energy Therapy (CET), the therapist co-creates with Higher Power the best techniques for the individual’s problem, whether it is something simple or something deep-seated and complex. This manual was originally designed for therapists who are ready to move from a technique oriented energy psychology to a more intuitive process of doing therapy, working with a team of helpers to facilitate the healing process. It has been expanded to include enough information so that even beginners will find it to be a valuable resource.
The beginner will find much useful information, including how to introduce energy therapy to clients, client handouts, easily learned energy therapy techniques, how to balance energy and how to access Higher Power. For all levels of practitioner, there is guidance in learning many new techniques as well as moving forward to more advanced methods of transmuting energy and becoming a healer. A way of healing past lives using energy techniques is provided, and an adaptation of Theta Healing is also included. If you are ready to go on a spiritual journey that promises to be exciting, rewarding, and productive, for both you and your clients, then Creative Energy Therapy is for you.
Kryon, who has co-created this writing, is an angelic entity of great magnitude. Although referred to with the male pronoun, Kryon has never been a human on our planet. His purpose is to help us understand the changes in the energy of the “New Age” and to honor the human experience. There are many people who channel (receive information from the other side of our known reality) from Kryon, and I have been privileged to be included among them. The nine Kryon books channeled by Lee Carroll have been translated into many different languages, so that there are now over seventy international Kryon books, and Lee Carroll has channeled before a committee of the United Nations on three occasions.
Channeling is something anyone can do; we all have the potential to channel. Often we call it “using our intuition.” Lee Carroll does not go into a trance when he channels. Kryon says about this, “One of the attributes of the new energy is responsibility and integrity. You will start to notice that channels no longer have to ‘give away’ their own personality to that of the entity delivering the message. Clearer messages will be able to be given now that you are carrying the whole power of your own soul. The best channeling is a partnership….” (Carroll, 1994, p. 23) Creative Energy Therapy expands this partnership to include the client and the client’s guides in the co-creative process.
Although anyone can channel, channeling must be done with the intent of helping others rather than serving the individual ego. The reader or listener needs to discern the intent of the channeling. The Kryon web site (www.Kryon.com) suggests you ask, “Is this a message from a human or from a wise and loving God?” They offer several guidelines for discernment. Examples are that the information must be useful for everyone, the message should be uplifting, the message must ring true for you, the message must present new information, and the message should have spiritual solutions to life’s challenges.
I wish I could say that I sat down and channeled this writing as it came to me, flowing out of my head onto the keyboard. That was hardly the case. It was a cooperative effort with Kryon and with my personal guides. It took a while for me to even realize how we were co-creating. At first I sat down with my pendulum (a way of obtaining yes and no answers from Higher Power) and asked which ideas in the many books I had was most helpful. The responders had definite opinions! After that, I sought consensus on all the work, using my pendulum to ask if everyone was content with a paragraph or a sentence, and if not, using the pendulum to find out what needed to be changed. Needless to say, reaching consensus has made this work a painstaking task, but I believe the product is a testimony to the benefits of group process.
When I printed out the final copy of the first draft, I was disappointed to see that page 4 (now page 10) had printed out blank. I had used special paper to make copies and thought I had wasted a lot of paper in the process. I went back to the computer to find that page 4 did have my written material on it, as I had thought.
The printer had just skipped it and put what I had written on page 4 onto page 5. I had been wondering if I should include some quotes from the Kryon books but had not done it. It was the perfect place to insert it, and I have done that on the next page of this writing.
Creative Energy Therapy is not for everyone. For example, some people may have religious objections to our being able to access information from a Higher Power, even though it is really a concept that goes beyond any individual religion. Others may have difficulty with the belief in a divinity. For these clients, more traditional approaches may be in order. Also, for clients who have Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), many of the techniques used in Creative Energy Therapy may cause anxiety reactions. As with channeling, discernment in its application is always appropriate.
I hope that this manual meets the test of your discernment and will indeed be helpful to all who use it. I welcome your feedback and comments.
